Myja Gary

Is a renowned host, speaker, and communications expert who uses her voice and platform to uplift women to be strong, confident and fearless.

 

She is the creator and host of Ask Myj the Podcast, where she discusses a mix of lifestyle and pop culture trends with a splash of Black Girl Magic! Myja has hosted major events with companies such as BET, FoxSoul and Revolt and worked with industry pioneers including Reverend Al Sharpton, Claudia Jordan, Lisa Raye, and Vivica Fox to name a few. She also hosted the Turn Up & Turn Out the Vote Virtual Bus Tour with Madam Vice President Kamala Harris, which helped educate HBCU students on the importance of voting.  

Myja earned a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, a Master of Professional Studies from Georgetown University, and is currently a Corporate Communications Manager for Zoom, where she serves as a strategic communications advisor and expert to internal stakeholders and executive leaders.

  

Currently, Myja serves as Miss Black USA 2021, where she advocates for women’s leadership through mentorship, career readiness and community building programs. She organized and hosted her Women I.N. (In the Network) event series where women leaders in tech, education, communications & marketing, and health & medical shared insight on how to be successful and have a seat at the table in their perspective industries. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.
